Hannecard relocates to new premises

Five years ago, the Belgium-based Hannecard Group, a manufacturer of roller coverings, expanded its international activities by acquiring the complementary roll covering and polyurethane molding business unit of Huber Suhner, of Pfaffikon in Switzerland.

Hannecard GmbH has now moved its activities to a new modern facility in Rti, Switzerland, in order to improve response to customer delivery requirements. The production facility is equipped with a new polyurethane casting machine, precision grinding equipment, a dust-free control room and a major R&D laboratory. The Rti facility will mainly serve the Swiss domestic market as well as customers in South Germany and Austria.

Hannecard manufactures high-end polyurethane coverings for various specialty domains such as rotogravure printing via both classical and electrostatic assist (ESA) methods, label and narrow web printing, packaging, converting and the textile industry. The company is also engaged in the manufacture and sales of elastomer products such as extruded profiles and molded technical parts.
