Isra Vision plans ‘aggressive’ expansion into the label and narrow web market
Vision and inspection specialist Isra Vision is targeting ‘aggressive’ growth in the label and narrow web market, following its successful presentation of its NarrowSTAR system to the Americas market at Labelexpo Americas 2016.

Isra Vision offers machine vision technology designed to assist the automation of highly complex tasks in the following areas: robot vision, offering guidance for difficult tasks such as positioning, assembly, handling or paint finishing; surface vision, offering guaranteed quality with 100 percent inspection of glass, foils and plastics at high speeds or complex paint finished surfaces (such as car bodies, home appliances, components); and quality inspection, for control of part inspection, code identification and measurement in real-time.
These products have traditionally been targeted at the wide web print and other industries, although the company introduced NarrowSTAR last year and Plug & Inspect, as reported here, which optimizes the entire workflow in narrow web printing, reduces make-ready times and increases productivity. The pre-calibrated, ready-to-use systems help to optimize output as soon as they are in operation.
In a further development, Amir Dekel has been named as the global vice president responsible for Isra Vision’s print business unit, as reported here.
In a statement, Isra Vision commented: ‘We are now focused to aggressively move forward our industry leading experience, technology and knowledge into the label, narrow web and sheet-fed printing and converting industries.’
