Andrei Stapinoiu named MD of Nordson EDI Europe

Stapinoiu will oversee all operations in Europe and be responsible for developing business in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Prior to this promotion, Stapinoiu was Nordson EDI’s European sales director, a position he held since 2010. He joined the company as European sales manager in 2007, coming from EGS Gauging, a supplier of measurement and control systems for web processes.

Godfrey Sandham, vice-president and general manager of Nordson EDI, said: ‘Andrei has played a pivotal role in the growth of our business in Europe, Africa and the Middle East and has a deep understanding of the international extrusion and web converting industries.

‘He will provide strong leadership as Nordson EDI Europe increases its product portfolio, supplying dies of both US and European design and supporting customers with expanded technical, spare parts and rework services.’
