Esko appoints Jason Chia as flexo business development director for South Asia and South East Asia

Chia first entered the pre-press packaging and printing industry in 1997 when he joined Barco-Graphics as a field service engineer. He progressed thereafter into marketing and pre-sales functions in Shanghai in 2005 where Esko was then just building out its presence.

Since then, he has served as sales leader/business development and account manager for packaging in the Asia-Pacific region at Kodak. He also worked with Sevenace Group and was responsible for South China and Hong Kong, based out of Guangzhou

Chia will lead the current Esko flexo business for South East Asia and South Asia regions. He will report to John Winderam, who said: ‘We are confident Jason will help position Esko to gain further in-roads with our CDIs and HD Flexo in SEA and India, working with our resellers, partners, and sales and marketing teams in targeting and opening up specific segments with our full array of flexo solutions.’
