Chris Baker, vice president of sales and business development since Highcon’s inception, will continue to work with the company and consult with management on special projects.

Highcon has recently expanded its sales channels in China, India, South Korea, South East Asia, Europe and Latin America, and has shown the Highcon Euclid II at China Print 2015 in Guangdong, about which Aviv Ratzman, Highcon chief executive officer and co-founder, said: ‘This is a huge opportunity for us and we are eagerly waiting to see the response our revolutionary technology arouses in China.’

On the appointment of Osmundsen, Ratzman said: ‘With over 30 years in a wide range of technical, sales and marketing, and management roles at Purup-Eskofot and then Indigo and HP, Jens Henrik is a natural fit for Highcon.

‘His reputation and broad international experience in introducing disruptive technology into the marketplace will be invaluable to us as we grow our install base.’

‘I am looking forward to taking on this new role,’ Osmundsen added. ‘I have been following the progress that Highcon has made since the Highcon Euclid was launched at drupa 2012 and am excited to be able to take an active part in building on the interest already shown in the market for this innovative digital finishing technology.’
