Trelleborg appoints director of operations

The creation of the new position coincides with Trelleborg completing a major investment program at its Axcyl flexo sleeve production facility in France.

Deycard joins from Spit-Paslode, a manufacturer of fixing, fastening and drilling systems for wood, steel and concrete applications. She is based at the Trelleborg plant in Mirambeau.

As director of operations she will work closely with the Trelleborg Axcyl sales and customer service team.

Damien Leterrier, Axcyl sales and application manager, said: ‘We’ve examined the entire operating structure and have altered this to improve our service to customers even further. The appointment of Katia Deycard has been part of that change.

‘She has 15 years of experience in production and quality management positions, as well as being a leader of several major improvement projects during that time.’
