Verso promotes Adam St. John to SVP position

Adam St. John has been promoted to serve as senior vice president of manufacturing at Verso.

A 24-year paper industry veteran, St. John has worked at Verso for the past 10 years, most recently serving as regional vice president of manufacturing with responsibility for the company's largest paper mills. 

His appointment comes as Verso confirms the creation of the interim Office of the Chief Executive, as reported here, to lead the management of the company as current CEO David J. Paterson retires on August 31. In addition, Robert M. Amen, the current lead independent director of Verso, is to become chairman of the board upon David J. Paterson's retirement.
