Eco Flexibles achieves top BRCGS grade

Eco Flexibles has been awarded AA+ certification, the highest grade possible, following an unannounced BRCGS Packaging Materials audit that found only one minor non-conformance report during the auditor's time on-site.

The rating is an upgrade from the AA certification Eco Flexibles achieved in 2025. Under the BRCGS Packaging Materials Issue 7 standard, AA+ certification can only be attained through an unannounced audit, a mandatory audit that takes place every three years to ensure high standards are maintained.

'We welcomed an unannounced audit because we know the standards our team operates to. We see it every day. It's fantastic to see their hard work and commitment to excellence rewarded with the highest possible BRCGS certification. It's great news for us, but even better news for our customers, who know they are in the safest hands,' said David Smith, general manager at Eco Flexibles. 'We aren't resting on our laurels, though. We've already started working on the feedback from our audit to aim even higher and pass our next audit with no NCRs.'

The AA+ rating is the latest in a year when Eco Flexibles has received awards and recognition across the packaging industry for its flexible packaging innovations.
