Štamparija Mercator installs three Hontec systems

Hontec has completed the installation of three label converting systems at Štamparija Mercator, expanding the converter's production capabilities with a flexographic press, a multifunctional finishing machine and a high-speed slitting machine.

The FlexiCon460 is an 8-color flexographic press configured with dual rotary die-cutting stations, a multi-layer device and a register lamination unit, enabling multi-process production for complex label applications.

The MPX350 multifunctional finishing machine adds a silkscreen unit and a rotary die-cutting station, supporting premium embellishments and flexible short-to-medium-run production. The high-speed slitting machine completes the line, providing efficient roll finishing and consistent output quality.

The three-system installation positions Štamparija Mercator to expand production capacity and meet growing demand for high-quality labels in regional markets.
