Industry leaders collaborate on crisp and chocolate pouches at Labelexpo Europe 2025

Major industry players unite to showcase flexo technology capabilities.

Synthogra, Nilpeter, GEW and Flint Group have joined forces to produce eye-catching crisp bags and chocolate pouches using Nilpeter's FA-17 press with advanced flexo technology ahead of Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona.

The Barcelona-inspired design represents a collaborative effort among all partners to demonstrate flexo printing capabilities and technological advancement. This partnership approach originated over a decade ago when Synthogra, Nilpeter, GEW and Flint Group first collaborated to showcase flexo innovation through tangible demonstrations.

'When we started this journey with Nilpeter, GEW and Flint Group, the idea was simple - to create something tangible that could showcase the very best of flexo printing and inspire others in the industry,' commented Nanette Thomas, CEO of Synthogra. 'Back then, it was a bold move to bring competitors and suppliers together in this way, but it worked.'

The initiative has expanded significantly since its inception, attracting additional partners to strengthen the innovation platform. Martin Teilberg, global marketing manager at Nilpeter, emphasized the project's dual purpose of demonstrating flexo's versatility and fostering industry collaboration.

'Flexo has huge potential, and this project is the perfect way to show its versatility and quality,' noted Teilberg. 'We're proud of the results and can't wait to show off the finished crisp bags and mint chocolate pouches.'

The innovative pouches will be displayed at participating companies' stands during Labelexpo Europe 2025, allowing visitors to examine the collaborative flexo printing demonstration firsthand.
