Weigang ZX-320G

Thai converter Leader Print & Supply has installed a Weigang ZX-320G semi-rotary offset press.

The 5-color press, commissioned at the end of June 2026, has been configured to meet the customer's requirements for production efficiency, print consistency and application flexibility. The line integrates five offset printing units with a varnishing unit and incorporates a range of automation features designed to reduce setup time and improve production stability.

Among the specifications are servo-controlled web handling with floating rail technology, LED curing for all five offset units, a mercury UV curing system for the varnishing unit, automatic plate mounting, motorized ink control on every printing unit, BST web guiding and inspection systems, dual-side web cleaning, and multilingual HMI support in Chinese, English and Thai.

Leader Print & Supply, based in Bangkok, operates under internationally recognized quality management systems, including ISO 9001, GHP and HACCP certifications, serving customers with demanding quality and hygiene requirements.

The investment reflects a broader trend across Southeast Asia, where label converters are increasingly upgrading existing production platforms with higher levels of automation to improve efficiency, reduce waste and deliver more consistent print quality for growing consumer packaging markets.

For Weigang, the project demonstrates the increasing demand for integrated offset technology that combines fast job changeovers with stable production performance. Features such as automated plate mounting, intelligent ink control and advanced web handling enable converters to respond more efficiently to shorter production runs while maintaining precise registration and repeatability.

The installation further strengthens Weigang's presence in Southeast Asia and highlights the continued adoption of advanced offset technology by regional label converters seeking greater productivity and manufacturing flexibility.
