Mark Andy focuses on productivity at Loupe Americas 2026

Mark Andy will conduct live demonstrations of five technologies that address distinct areas of pressroom performance.

Mark Andy has confirmed that it will demonstrate technologies designed to improve performance across key areas of label and package printing production, from high-speed flexo and digital hybrid printing to inspection, finishing and pressroom inventory management.

In booth #219, Mark Andy will show how targeted improvements across the production process can help converters generate more saleable output, reduce material waste, minimize avoidable delays, and extract greater value from both existing and future capital investments.

‘Productivity does not come from adding technology for technology’s sake. It comes from understanding where time, material or capacity is being lost and making the right improvement for that operation,’ said Duane Pekar, CEO, Mark Andy. ‘At Loupe, we are bringing together proven technologies and new programs that help converters get more from the investments they already have while making smarter decisions about what comes next. Because Mark Andy supports printing, finishing, supplies and applications, our team can look across the production process and help customers identify where the most significant performance gains can be made.’

Mark Andy will conduct live demonstrations of five technologies that address distinct areas of pressroom performance.

The Digital Pro Max will feature two flexo print stations, a digital engine and semi-rotary die-cutting. The platform gives converters an accessible path into digital label production with in-line converting capabilities, allowing them to streamline short-run and versioned work while maintaining the flexibility to add value before and after digital print.

Delivering 1200 DPI print quality at speeds of up to 480 feet per minute, the HighSpeed 1200 expands the range of work that can be produced efficiently with digital inkjet technology. At Loupe, the press will run two jobs designed to demonstrate productivity gains across different production requirements. Available in configurations ranging from roll-to-roll production to a fully integrated hybrid platform, it supports high-speed variable data printing, in-line decorating, and converting, allowing converters to move more mid- and longer-run work into a digital workflow.

Engineered for converters balancing high-volume label production with growing demand for flexible packaging and light cartons, the S9 combines speeds of up to 1,000 feet per minute with sleeve tooling, advanced drying capabilities, and automated production controls. At Loupe, the press will run pouch and form-fill-and-seal applications, demonstrating its ability to maintain register, manage unsupported films, and support efficient, high-speed production. Automatic color-to-color registration, density control, and job save and recall functions help shorten changeovers, maintain consistency, and reduce operator intervention.

Designed for high-speed inspection, slitting and rewinding, the VLI is particularly well suited for film, film packaging and other tension-sensitive materials. Its operator-focused controls, efficient web path, and configurable design help converters increase finishing throughput while maintaining precise control over challenging substrates.

The new point-of-use inventory management program from Mark Andy Print Products uses scan-and-go technology to help converters track critical pressroom consumables, improve inventory visibility and simplify restocking. By giving operators faster access to the supplies they need while reducing time spent searching, counting, or managing excess stock, SupplySmart addresses an often-overlooked source of production delays.

Together, the exhibits demonstrate that production speed is only one component of pressroom productivity. Faster changeovers, stable print performance, efficient finishing, and reliable access to supplies all influence how much profitable work a converter can move through the plant during a shift.

Mark Andy will also feature its recently launched SmartPress Program, which brings 80 years of engineering experience into a set of application-ready press configurations delivered in eight weeks, cutting the company’s standard delivery timeline in half.

Available on the Pro Series, Evolution Series E5 and Performance Series P7 platforms, SmartPress enables converters to begin with a proven configuration developed for labels, film + label or shrink + label production. Optional packages can then be added to support specific application requirements, including hot-air drying, UV curing, cold foil, sheeting and conveying, extended-run production, and faster changeovers.

‘Every converter has different applications, customers, and operational priorities, so maximizing an investment does not mean specifying the most elaborate solution,’ Pekar added. ‘It means selecting the right capabilities, getting them into production quickly, and ensuring they perform reliably every day. That principle connects everything we are bringing to Loupe.’

Live demonstrations will take place throughout the three-day event. Mark Andy application specialists will also be available to discuss equipment configurations, finishing requirements, consumables management, and opportunities to improve performance within existing production environments.
