Polyprint Georgia installs Omet KFlex

Georgian converter enters roll-fed label production with premium flexo press.

Polyprint Georgia, one of Georgia's leading printing companies, has installed an Omet KFlex flexographic press, marking its entry into roll-fed label production and complementing its established sheet-fed offset printing capability.

The company has built its reputation over many years serving food, beverage, wine and consumer goods customers with sheet-fed offset technology. The Omet KFlex installation extends that offering into premium self-adhesive labels, aluminum foil labels and wraparound wine labels, where precise registration and decorative finishing are essential.

A key advantage of the Omet KFlex for Polyprint is its in-line production capability, combining printing, cold foil application, lamination, varnishing and die-cutting in a single pass. The integrated workflow reduces production time, minimizes material waste and improves repeatability on complex, high-value label constructions, allowing the company to produce decorative effects including metallic finishes, tactile varnishes and embossing-ready structures.

The investment targets growth in the premium label segment, where demand from wine, spirits, cosmetics and specialty food brands for high-impact shelf decoration continues to increase. Polyprint said the Omet KFlex provides a platform for continued business growth and access to higher-value markets beyond its existing offset base.
