Eco3 enters digital label market with Elio

Eco3 has introduced Elio, a family of UV inkjet label presses marking its entry into the digital label market, available to order now through its sales and service network in Europe and the Americas.

Building on decades of experience in pre-press, workflow automation, color management and print production support, Eco3 helps converters respond to growing demand for shorter runs, increased SKU proliferation, personalization and faster turnaround times.

Elio is a label production ecosystem that combines hardware, Elio inks, Apogee Digital workflow software and Eco3's pre- and post-sales support. Together, these elements provide converters with an integrated technology for efficient, reliable and profitable label production.

The Elio portfolio is available in three configurations, allowing converters to select the level of digital capability that best matches their production strategy and business objectives.

Elio Essenza provides an accessible entry into industrial digital label production. Offering print speeds of up to 50 m/min, six color channels allowing CMYK to be combined with white, and a resolution up to 600X1200 DPI, it delivers the capabilities required for many label applications. 

Built around the industry's most widely adopted 330mm label format, Elio Essenza offers an attractive balance of performance and investment. Optional in-line primer, lamination and die-cutting modules provide additional production flexibility.

For converters seeking higher productivity and enhanced print quality, Elio Forma expands capability to speeds of up to 80m/min with a native 1,200 X 1,200 DPI resolution. The platform supports CMYK plus extended color gamut options, orange, green, violet and white, supported by LED curing.

For converters looking to combine the advantages of digital and conventional flexo printing, Elio Hybrid offers a customized platform integrating digital UV inkjet and conventional flexographic printing technologies in a single production environment.

Across the entire product family, Elio leverages proven Kyocera technology to deliver reliable industrial performance while addressing the real-world requirements of modern label converters.
