The Revo 7-color Extented Color Gamut (ECG) printing, developed by the Revo Technology Team of industry suppliers, is a well-established turn-key Digital Flexo process that flows from pre-press through to production output.

For the 60-minute Revo master class, starting every day at 4:00pm on Bobst booth 5403 in Hall F, there will be a full line-up of experts from each of the Revo team partners – Apex International, AVT, Bobst, DuPont, Esko, Flint Group, Saica Flex, Stora Enso, UPM Raflatac, X-rite Pantone – who will take participants through the different technologies that make up the Revo fully automated workflow. Other topical business issues relating to ECG advantages, total cost of ownership and the like, will also be discussed. A dedicated live show of three REVO printed jobs on one of the Bobst narrow-web exhibited machines will complete the master class.

‘ECG printing is definitely set to change the way converters will print labels and packaging in the future and the Revo Digital Flexo technology offering to the industry is truly unique. This is so in terms of color and print quality consistency and repeatability, validated by global digital quality standard, as well as operational efficiency,’ explains Federico D’Annunzio, strategic products marketing director of Bobst Business Unit Web-fed.

‘We are committed to provide information and support to converters so that adoption of ECG can be as smooth and fast as possible, which is why we are bringing the master class to Labelexpo Americas.’ Revo training, procedures and best practices are offered to converters at the Revo Academy, based in the production plant of Bobst Firenze, in Italy.
