Women in Packaging founder to speak at RotoMetrics event

Understanding the evolving nature of the packaging industry is key for businesses to capitalize on future opportunities, according to industry expert and co-founder of Women in Packaging, Joanna Stephenson, who will share her insights at the 2018 RotoMetrics European open house.

Taking place July 3-4 at the RotoMetrics European headquarters in Walsall, West Midlands, UK, the event will feature a host of notable speakers alongside Stephenson, including Kevin Vyse, senior packaging technologist and circular economy lead at Marks & Spencer and keynote speaker, explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes. 

The event is supported by over thirty global suppliers and is an opportunity for attendees to share insight and gain knowledge from experts from all areas of the packaging industry.  

Stephenson will discuss the latest global trends in the industry, in particular their impact on the label sector, including the roles of social, economic and political change. She said: ‘The packaging industry is evolving significantly, so it is more important than ever to understand the global trends and changes taking place and what these mean for businesses today.

With more than 25 years’ experience working in the packaging, print and chemical industries, Stephenson is considered a trusted advisor to numerous business directors across the UK. 

Through WIP she promotes the representation of women in the industry and aims to ensure female employees have the support, training and recognition to ensure their success.
