Mudrika Labels buys Vinsak LSR 330

The Vinsak LSR 330, under installation at the Mudrika plant, is equipped with both pneumatic rewind and unwind mandrels, and jobs can be programed at end of roll stop. This particular model is the first Indian built LSR, which is fully servo driven as well as bi-directional, allowing 100 percent inspection of all labels.

Some of the main features of LSR are: electronic web guidance system with ultrasonic sensor suitable for opaque and clear substrates; adjustable splicing table with pneumatic clamps for removal of the waste product; and scissor knife slitting that includes three sets of knives. The equipment runs at a speed of up to 300m/min.

The deal was finalized during Labelexpo India 2016, which coincided with latest LMAI Awards where Mudrika Labels claimed multiple awards. Manish Desai, director at Mudrika Label, said: ‘One of the main factors for winning awards in four categories at the LMAI Awards is the investment in right kind of label printing and finishing machinery. There is a big trust factor associated with Vinsak as it is a quality brand and offers good machine efficiency.’
