Nosco is a full-service packaging provider serving more than 350 customers in the pharmaceutical, medical device, contract manufacturing/packaging, animal health, natural health, biotech and over-the-counter markets.

Nosco's latest investment is a 17in, 8-color EF press that includes an automatic unwind and rewind system from Kocher+Beck. This is the second MPS EF press Nosco has purchased in the past three years. The EF is MPS’s flagship press, and is a highly automated, multi-substrate flexo press suited for label production and flexible packaging printing.

‘Three years ago we went on a year-long research project to find the best press technology for our Carrollton plant,’ said Brad Elledge, director of continuous improvement at Nosco. ‘MPS blew us away because it delivered what it said it would in each phase of our testing: a press with exceptionally tight registration that holds through speed changes and no bar marking. MPS has thought differently. Its presses are printing against a free-wheeling, hard-durable rubber impression roll so they’ve eliminated pacing issues and minimized dot gain.’
