Regal Creative Products opts for its first LSR

This is the company's first slitter rewinder with 100 percent inspection system. Other converting equipment installed in the factory are from Othotec and Focus Machinery. Rakshit Chawla, director, Regal Creative Products, said, 'Growing need of proper inspection system to send 100 percent defect free labels to customers prompted us to invest in this equipment.'

Chawla continued: 'We started our label printing facility in 2003 and it has been growing at a rate of 10 to 12 percent year-on-year. We mainly cater to personal care and pharmaceutical segments.' Spread in an area of 15,000 sq. ft, the factory houses one 8-color fully loaded Gallus press and two 7-color each Orthotec letterpress.
