HI2 is equipped with a Nikka inspection system to control the print, and is fully servo driven. It can be used to inspect all types of labels and shrink sleeves. This is the forth Grafotronic machine installed by Riber.

Riber director Michele Bersi explained that the company is seeing, ‘increasing demand from our customers to control and inspect everything that is leaving our factory.

‘The new HI2 machine has all the features we need to ensure this,’ he said. ‘Grafotronic is one of our most important partners and the fact that it is represented locally with service and support is one of the main reasons we are coming back for more machines.’

Gabriele Gerbella, manager of Grafotronic Italy, said: ‘The new generation of fully servo driven inspection machines have been completely re-designed and updated with the latest technology. The machine seems to be the right product in the right time and we have several more machines in order for our Italian customers.’

Mattias Malmqvist, vice president of sales and marketing at Grafotronic, added: ‘Riber has been with us since the very beginning and we were very happy that it has come back for the fourth machine in such a short period of time. That shows that we are doing something right.’
