Heidelberg and Gallus report strong Labelexpo sales across portfolio

Hybrid press innovations drive customer engagement at the Barcelona show.

Heidelberg and Gallus have reported strong demand across their System to Compose portfolio at Labelexpo 2025, with sales spanning new and existing products.

The company presented three major innovations at the show, including the Gallus Five hybrid press, which operates at speeds of up to 100 m/min. The Gallus Alpha provides an entry point for companies taking their first steps into digital printing or for those who have previously struggled to make the technology work commercially. The company also launched the Gallus Print Academy, an on-site training initiative that supports customers in their transition to smart, connected printing.

'We are very pleased with the market response and customer engagement that we've seen at this year's show,' comments Dario Urbinati, CEO of Gallus Group. 'Presenting three major new innovations on this global stage and seeing them resonate really reinforced the industry demand and readiness for the next generation of smart, connected print technologies. With these new offerings, we are making the benefits of digital and hybrid technologies both accessible and commercially viable for businesses across the entire value chain.'

Urbinati adds that the outcome has surpassed expectations, with strong sales spanning the entire portfolio. 'There had been a lot of anticipation across the industry about how the first Labelexpo in Barcelona would perform, and from a Heidelberg and Gallus perspective, the outcome has surpassed expectations. Our experience at this year's show reinforces that, despite continued challenging conditions for label businesses to navigate, the market is thriving. It's hugely encouraging to see our customers adapt, innovate and flourish, and we are pleased to be part of that journey.'
