All Printing Resources focuses on pre-press to press at Labelexpo Americas 2016

All Printing Resources (APR) is to use Labelexpo Americas 2016 to take converters on a journey from pre-press to the press, and present developments in production and hybrid printing.

Label converters that visit the APR stand at Labelexpo Americas 2016 will also receive a copy of the company’s Narrow Web Flexo Production and Digital Printing white paper

At the show, taking place September 13-15 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, APR will be showcasing a range of production equipment that offers converters increased efficiencies, precision in job-to-job repeatability, and state-of-the-art digital-flexo hybrid printing.

This will see a Colordyne Technologies 3600 Series retrofit system shown as a tool that allows converters to economically transform their existing flexo press into a hybrid option, with Memjet technology providing full-color digital inkjet capabilities.

Also on display will be MacDermid Graphic Solutions’ continued evolution of the its Lava thermal plate processing system. The latest design of the Lava incorporates remote diagnostics, an improved heating system, web path controls, and additional enhancements that complement the company’s line of digital plates.

An Esko CDI Spark 2530 digital flexo imaging system will be used to show how flexo printers can achieve gravure and offset quality, including smoother, sharper images with an expanded tonal range, brighter and more vibrant solids, and a wider color gamut.

A Troika AniCAM 3D scanning microscope with flexo plate, anilox roll and gravure cylinder measuring capabilities will round off the pre-press to press showcase from APR. Also on hand will be the Troika Plate-II-Print HD with plate and print reading capabilities and SpotOn! Flexo, a simple software product designed for the pressroom to improve color matching and reduce make-ready times.

Label converters that visit the APR stand at Labelexpo Americas 2016 will also receive a copy of the company’s Narrow Web Flexo Production and Digital Printing white paper. Labelexpo Americas 2016 marks the official release date of the white paper, which features the results of an extensive APR-commissioned research study that surveyed label printers and converters throughout the US on the drivers of digital press acquisitions in addition to key flexo production benchmarking metrics. The research results will not be made public and will only be available to converters that visit APR’s stand.
