This year’s Farm Business Innovation Show takes place at Olympia on November 27-28, and is aimed at all farmers, smallholders, land owners, estates and other parties interested in rural business, and who, according to organizer Prysm Media Group, are looking for new ways to use their land to bring in more money.

‘This is not an agricultural show with farm machinery, plant and livestock, but a farming business show with new ideas, advice, suppliers and resources to make your business more profitable,’ a mission statement describing the show explains.

CS Labels, the largest digital label printer in Europe using Xeikon technology, works with the artisan food and beverage markets, as well as large FMCG clients. It has received awards for such work.

Simon Smith, CS Labels managing director, said: ‘I analyze the business continually, and we chose the Farming Business Innovation Show this year as we have seen an increase in the number of farmers, smallholders, land owners and estates taking the leap into food and drink production, many of which then go on to become a real revenue generation tool for them.

‘Diversification can be a scary concept; we should know, we have moved from traditional print to 100 percent digital which was a leap of faith to say the least.

‘Whether the producer is new to this or simply wants to make their brand stand out, CS Labels exists to make the whole process seamless and painless.’

During the Farm Business Innovation Show, CS Labels will also run a seminar discussing upcoming food labeling changes, and how digitally printed labels can ensure compliance with the upcoming laws.

This will see Andrew Mansfield, sales director at CS Labels, explain the changes and address how food producers can comply in a cost-efficient manner using digital printing, as well as benefitting from an increased volume of sales that the print process can help facilitate.

Mansfield said: ‘The new labeling laws, and in fact digital labeling in general, aren’t rocket science. My seminar will dispel many of the myths out there, foster creativity when it comes to choosing your labeling solution, and send attendees away inspired and empowered with information and ideas.’

Those visiting the CS Labels stand can win a limited edition pair of JuJu wellies. CS Labels prints the decals that adorn the prestigious wellington boot brand’s products.
