Dscoop prepares for Americas conference

The Dscoop Unleashing Print conference will focus on educating and inspiring attendees with new ways to innovate and grow business, customers and revenue. Attendees can choose from workshops developed for three audiences: business managers and owners, operators, and brands and creatives. These tailored sessions provide training, trends and insights.

Operators hands-on technical sessions will provide in-depth training and dedicated press time. Sessions include training for Mosaic, Edge printing, VDP, Multi-lane ganging, security features, pack ready, HP PrintOS and color refinement.

A Brands and Creatives Day is devoted to educating and inspiring marketers, brand owners and creatives about digital print’s ability to bring targeted momentum to campaigns; increase brands’ shelf space; and create greater success when paired with social media and online campaigns. Dscoop members are encouraged to bring their clients’ marketing teams and designers.

Speakers include thought leaders in the creative and brand marketing space: Andrew Davis, digital marketing expert and author; Paula Scher, design icon, educator, and the first female principal at Pentagram; Dana Arnett, design innovator and founding partner, VSA Partners.

Additionally, Noah Curran, social media expert and CEO at Monkedia will share his expertise. Curran works with major brands on social media advertising to grow their business, while also using print to accelerate that growth. Brands and Creatives Day also includes a guided tour through the Solutions Wonderland with thousands of applications and examples of print on display.

New Opportunities in Inkjet Production will be led by leaders in inkjet technology, application and design. According to Marco Boer, vice president of I.T. Strategies and one of the session’s keynote speakers. This three-hour session covers tools, techniques and applications; market trends; strategy; challenges, and a panel discussion/Q&A. Additional inkjet sessions are also scheduled throughout the conference.

The nearly sold-out showcase will also spotlight more than 100 industry suppliers.

Also on display will be Dscoop’s new and expanded online platform, Dscoop Community, which will connect creatives and marketers to printers, projects and partners.
