Label Academy adds module covering dispensing and application technology
Label Academy has introduced its latest module, ‘Label dispensing and application technology’, which demonstrates the various ways in which pressure-sensitive labels can be effectively dispensed and applied.
Label Academy is a global training and certification program for the label industry, and has been developed by the teams behind Labels & Labeling and Labelexpo Global Series. Existing program modules cover conventional label printing processes, digital label and package printing, environmental performance and sustainable labeling, and label design and origination. The self-study modules combine free access to a detailed synopsis, relevant articles and videos with paid text books. After completing their studies, students can take an online exam and gain a certificate.
The latest module demonstrates the ways in which pressure-sensitive labels can be effectively dispensed and applied using: modern label dispensers; hand labelers; print and apply systems; semi-automatic, fully automatic and rotary label applicators; and linerless application systems.
Label Academy is endorsed by industry associations Finat, TLMI and LMAI, and sponsored by a cross-section of industry partners. including Durst, HP Indigo, MPS, UPM Raflatac, Flint Group and Kocher+Beck.
For a limied period, Label Academy is offering those passing an exam before September 4, 2015 their next exam for free.
