Label Pack hosts inaugural Graphic Industry Supplier Awards in Mexico

Mexican industry magazine Label Pack recently organized the first edition of the Graphic Industry Supplier Awards. The event also marked the one-year anniversary of Label Pack magazine.

According to Label Pack editorial director Keren Becerra, the awards were conceived as a way of giving a voice to industry suppliers and allowing them to recognize the achievements of their converter customers.

A ‘significant number’ of international and local suppliers took part in voting, according to the organizers. Representatives from Daetwyler, Heidelberg, Kodak, RotoMetrics, UPM Raflatac and Wink handed out the awards.

Awards were given in five categories:

Printer of the Year

Winner: Litoprocess

Packaging Manufacturer of the Year

Winner: Imprenta Reyes Hermanos

Label Manufacturer of the Year

Winner: Eticom

Most Innovative Company

Winner: Mayapack

Most Sustainable Company

Winner: Offset Santiago

The second edition of the awards will take place in late 2017.
