Meech displays range of new products at Labelexpo
Meech is showcasing the recently launched Hyperion 924IPS ionizing bar and new 906 and 907 power supplies, as well as the company’s range of web cleaning systems, at Labelexpo Europe 2015.
David Rogers, technical director at Meech, said: ‘We are very pleased to be back at Labelexpo Europe. Our aim is to highlight the ways in which our systems can help maintain efficient, safe and productive manufacturing environments.’
Rogers explained: ‘The development and expansion of the Hyperion range has been possible thanks to Meech’s close collaboration with its customers in order to understand their needs and demands. The end result is a range of systems that provides class-leading static elimination, with the bars’ default settings allowing quick and easy installation for use on label production lines.’
The company’s web cleaning systems at the show includes TakClean and CyClean. While the TakClean features specifically formulated TransTak elastomer contact cleaning rollers and perforated adhesive rolls, which make it ideal for narrower and slower presses; the CyClean is a compact non-contact system designed to remove and extract contamination. Meech have optimized the cleaning efficiency of the CyClean to remove contamination to below one micron. It is best suited for newer, high speed presses and is said to handle ‘virtually any’ substrate.
‘The need to minimize wastage and achieve higher levels of productivity is a key priority for label converters. This goal can only be achieved if one capitalizes on the strengths of highly efficient contact and non-contact web-cleaning systems,’ said Rogers.
He concluded: ‘We are confident that our comprehensive stand proposition will attract a good deal of interest throughout the event, and look forward to discussing the latest trends and innovations in the labeling market with an international audience.’
