Mona Equipments opens new factory

Mona Equipments, an Indian manufacturer of doctor blades, has inaugurated its new factory in Noida that started production on May 1.

Spread across an area of more than 850 sq ft, the new factory is the company’s fourth plant in Noida. 
 
Pawan Kumar Singh, managing director of Mona Equipments, said: ‘This factory is dedicated to manufacturing products for the international market. We will consolidate two existing units from other locations and the new factory by the end of the month. We shall then be operating from two factories – one for the domestic market and the other for export.’
 
With a total investment of Rs 6.8 crore in this expansion, the new factory features equipment including a CNC machine, automatic cylindrical grinder and VMC machine for matching product requirements in the global market. 
 
After opening an office in Europe in 2014, Mona Equipments has also signed sales and service partnership in Morocco and Egypt. With these partnerships, it is now supplying its products to a total of 21 countries including Russia, Turkey, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Colombia and more in Europe, Africa and the Gulf region.
 
Mona Equipment has also started preparing for Labelexpo Europe 2015. On its stand, visitors will see products including differential shafts, small  diameter air expanding core shafts, multi-tube air expanding core shafts, core expanding chucks and Mona +Plus doctor blades for flexo machines.
 
The company claims to have grown by 30 percent in the 2014-15 financial year taking its turnover to approximately Rs 9.2 crore.
