MPS targets African label market

MPS and its representative Rotocon are to use the forthcoming Label Summit Africa to promote the Dutch press manufacturer’s technology to the local market.

The MPS EG flexo press will be promoted at Label Summit Africa 2014

This includes the EB flexo press, which is built with a combination of high-quality MPS printing technology, optimal performance and a strong focus on affordability. It is designed to print self-adhesive label jobs at optimal performance while reducing overall printing costs.

In addition to the EB press, the EF flexo multi-substrate press series will be showcased at Label Summit Africa. The EF press can convert a vast variety of different substrates and designs and can be equipped with a wide range of converting options, including gravure and screen. Automation packages and control systems can extend the productivity of this press even further.

Arnaud Fleuren, MPS area sales manager, said: ‘MPS and Rotocon look forward to meeting with African printers and converters…to exchange ideas about printing process enhancements and educate visitors about the press solutions that MPS offers.

‘The joint technology knowledge of MPS and Rotocon combined with years of experience in the printing and converting industry is of great value to Label Summit Africa visitors. Together we can share information about topics ranging from pre-press production, levels of automation, substrates, inks, tooling and more.

Label Summit Africa 2014 takes place on March 10-11 in Cape Town, South Africa. The two-day conference and table-top exhibition is being staged for the second time.
