Nilpeter presses now feature TruPoint Orange

Nilpeter is now shipping all new FB series presses with Flexo Concepts’ TruPoint Orange doctor blades.

Danish press manufacture integrates plastic doctor blades into FB series

The narrow web press manufacturer has replaced steel blades with plastic counterparts due to their ‘superior metering performance and ability to eliminate UV ink spitting’, Flexo Concepts said.

Available in 10in, 13in and 16in web widths, Nilpeter's FB series models have a printing speed of up to 750f/min.

The high-performance FB-3 UV press was introduced to the European market last year at Labelexpo in Brussels and featured the TruPoint Orange doctor blade. 

The blade's successful performance on-press at the show inspired the company to replace steel with Orange on all new press installations.
