Phoseon Technology, Flint Group Narrow Web and Mark Andy are to host a series of seminars on LED-UV curing for narrow web printers across the US in the coming weeks.

Under the title ‘UV LED - A Bright Future Awaits’, the seminars look to address the growing interest of LED-UV curing for flexo/narrow web and label printing.

The seminars will take place in Los Angeles on March 24 at the Marriott Courtyard, Atlanta on March 31 at the Hyatt Regency and Chicago on April 10 at the DePaul University O'Hare Campus, and are targeted at brand owners, decision makers and management of narrow web tag and label printers looking to learn more about the benefits and impact of transitioning to LED-UV curing.

Topics to be covered include: market and application overviews; printing press technology; inks, coatings and adhesives for LED-UV; lamp technology; LED-UV for unsupported/heat-sensitive substrates; and the benefits of LED-UV for food packaging. Industry experts will discuss the LED solid state lamp, press interface and LED ink technology, along with added benefits related to substrates, capacity and increased productivity associated with the use of LED-UV curing.

As such, presenters from Phoseon Technology, Flint Group Narrow Web and Mark Andy will illustrate how LED-UV curing technology is a ‘game-changer’ for narrow web and label printing applications, the supplier partners stated.

These technical seminars are free of charge to attend and are only open to label and packaging printers.
