Phoseon Technology has opened an office in Tokyo in order to support Japan's LED-UV curing market.

Phoseon Technology said opening the Tokyo office shows its commitment to the Japanese original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and industrial end-user markets. It also strengthens the company's ability to bring the most advanced and cost-effective LED-UV products to the Japanese market, it said.

Bill Cortelyou, Phoseon Technology president and chief executive officer, said: ‘"We are especially pleased to open our Tokyo office as a testament and validation of Phoseon Technology's long-standing commitment to our customers in Japan, where we've been actively conducting business for more than 10 years.

‘We look forward to more directly supporting our customers and expanding our comprehensive UV LED curing solutions in the Japanese market.’

In addition, Kazuhiro Tanaka has been appointed as the general manager of Phoseon-Japan.
