PIAA plans program of security events

PIAA noted that today's printing businesses cannot afford to ignore the likelihood of ongoing cyber threats and warned that, regardless of size, every business needs to take cyber security seriously.

The association's planned series of events will be held in five Australian cities in mid-September and cover the common methods adopted by cyber criminals, and the easiest and most effective ways to protect a business.

Presentations will provide insights and understanding to minimize business risks and outline the possible consequences of and defence strategies against a cyber security breach – both financial and reputational.
