Soma pushes consistency at Polish flexo meeting

Soma Engineering has hosted a flexo printing conference in Poland themed around print consistency and customer service.

More than 50 printers and converters attended the event in Tychy, Poland

The event in Tychy included presentations by key suppliers in conjunction with Chespa, a Soma Globe Alliance member and demonstrations at PPHU Pabex, an important customer in the region whuch has recently installed a 1,050mm-wide, 10-color Imperia flexo press.

In addition, a table-top exhibition enabled visitors to network and discuss new technology with representatives from Soma, Chespa, Apex, Du Pont, Esko, Tesa, Scorpio-Rotec and Redux.

More than 50 printers and converters attended the event, and Petr Blasko, marketing manager at Soma, said: ‘We are very happy with the outcome of this conference and I am pleased that our program has attracted so many important persons from the Polish flexographic world.

‘I would like to thank all our partners and especially PPHU Pabex, which allowed us to demonstrate high quality and consistent print results on its Soma presses. I believe that everyone who attended found the event both enjoyable and technically informative.

‘As a result of this success we are planning to hold similar activities in other regions.’
