Avery Dennison launches AD Fusion at Loupe
RFID inlay program removes capital barriers for label converters at booth 119.
Avery Dennison has launched AD Fusion, a program that delivers customizable label materials with pre-inserted RFID inlays to label and packaging converters, removing the traditional capital investment barrier of inlay insertion equipment and enabling converters to enter the smart label market using their existing workflows and machinery.
Powered by SmartFace technology, AD Fusion arrives as custom slit rolls ready to print and convert with RFID inlays already embedded, requiring no new machinery or additional operator training. Ultra-thin inlays maintain the look and performance of standard labels throughout the production process.
The launch will be central to Avery Dennison's presence at Loupe Americas 2026 in Chicago at booth 119, where the company will organize demonstrations around five market segments: food, logistics, pharma, wine and spirits, and industrial. Additional innovations on show include Anchor AT for dependable low-temperature bonding in cold, wet and freezer environments, the AD IdentiFresh Inlay series for fresh food RFID applications across bakery, meat, deli and produce, and AD CleanGlass, a wash-off adhesive supporting glass bottle reuse through clean label removal in caustic wash at 80 degrees Celsius.
Attendees can schedule one-on-one sessions with Avery Dennison's technical and sustainability experts on EPR legislation and production challenges.
'AD Fusion represents a major step forward in making RFID more accessible and actionable for converters,' said Abby Monnot, vice president of marketing at Avery Dennison. 'By combining SmartFace technology with a streamlined, production-ready format, we are bringing to market an innovative solution that helps customers accelerate adoption, unlock new opportunities, and compete more effectively in a rapidly evolving landscape.'
