Flexo Wash launches FW LaserX 2000
The next-generation Galvo-based laser anilox cleaner is now standard for all North American orders.
Flexo Wash will showcase the FW LaserX 2000 at Loupe Americas 2026 in Chicago at booth 415, making it the new standard for all laser anilox cleaner orders across North America and offering attendees who place an order at the show a 10 percent discount.
Built around Galvo scanning technology and a high-speed NIR-MOPA laser, the FW LaserX 2000 delivers faster, more consistent anilox cleaning with less mechanical wear than conventional direct-laser systems and operates with zero chemistry, zero water and zero waste, requiring no dedicated water supply, drain or safety infrastructure. The unit carries a Class 1 laser safety rating, eliminating the need for safety goggles or dedicated ventilation.
Key features include a tool-free Easy Access top-load design, an optional integrated microscope with automated 3D inspection that determines the correct cleaning cycle for each roll, CleanLink inventory management via RFID and barcode, collision detection, surface-specific cleaning presets for Chrome, Steel, Tungsten and other roll types, and a three-stage industrial air filtration system combining HEPA, active carbon and spark arrestor filters.
Alongside the LaserX 2000, Flexo Wash will present its full range of automated press cleaning systems covering liquid anilox cleaners, plate washers, parts washers, screen washers and proprietary cleaning chemistry, each custom-configured to the customer's press, ink system and component requirements. Flexo Wash has more than 800 installations across North America and more than 5,000 worldwide.
'The FW Laser 2000 is the anilox cleaning solution pressrooms have been asking for: faster setup, cleaner results, and none of the overhead that comes with liquid systems,' said Ryan Potter, vice president of sales at Flexo Wash US. 'What we're hearing from customers is that they want a process that's easier to manage and produces a consistently clean roll every time.'
'Flexo Wash has been the cleaning partner for converters around the world for over 30 years, and shows like this are how we stay connected to the people and pressrooms we serve,' added Patrick Potter, president of Flexo Wash US. 'There's no better place to talk pressroom performance than a room full of label and packaging converters.'
