3D hologram sleeve developed by Sleever

Following four years development, Sleever International has launched its Holosleeve 3D security system, designed to protect vulnerable high value brands with a visual anti-forgery signature.
Holosleeve 3D is based around a mono-oriented OPS base film developed by Sleever which possesses the characteristic of remembering its deformation after heat shrinking, allowing the creation of relief effects or three-dimensional patterns.
The 3D-motif – realized by embossing or debossing – can be combined with up to 6-color gravure printing, in addition to highly precise positioning (3/10ths mm) and a wide range of special effects, including multichroic and luminescent. Traceable tags can be integrated to combat grey market diversion.
Holosleeve 3D can also be used with a new generation of high-security demetallic holograms – a self-destruct system developed in partnership with European specialist Hologram Industries.
Automated application takes place on Sleever’s Powersleeve Evolution 3 machines, which can reach speeds between 15,000 and 20,000 bottles/hour.
The first application of Holosleeve 3D was for Hennessy Cognac X.O, in a version that contains over five protective levels. The solution can be adapted to other high value sectors affected by forgeries, such as perfumes, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and para-pharmaceuticals.
