Albertin adds copper stamping tools

Stamping specialist Albertin has added copper stamping tools to its portfolio to respond to its customers’ changing needs, according to company CEO Ferruccio Albertin.

Albertin adds copper stamping tools

The company already produces magnesium, brass and rubber stamping tools, which along with the new copper stamping tools, are manufactured at its factory near Milan, Italy. It also offers: counterforces; brass cylinders; graphic design services; micro and nano embossing stamping tools; Braille blind embossing tools; silicone rubber stamping tools for flat and curved surfaces; nyloprint, flexo coating and printing plates; strippable coating plates; and SRP and in-line flat stamping tools.

Ferruccio Albertin commented: ‘We are always searching for new solutions. Many years ago, we announced the possibility to engrave stamping tools with a fiber optic source. We were the first ones and we’re still the only ones in Italy to give this opportunity. We were the first to adopt a high resolution CtP flexo plate exposure unit for polyester and aluminum plates with a maximum size of 1310 x 2032mm.

‘Now we’re reaching a new milestone with the production of copper stamping tools in our factory. The attention to customers’ needs challenged us to find new ways to express possibilities, and we think that copper could be an appreciated solution.’

The company has developed the production phase, successfully completed testing and is now offering copper stamping tools to customers. These will be marked with ‘Albertin – Made in Italy’, which the company is, ‘very proud to use,’ concluded Ferruccio Albertin. ‘We are the only ones in Italy to produce copper stamping tools directly in our factory, as happens for all our products.’

Albertin will present its portfolio of products, including new copper stamping tools, at the Packaging Première exhibition in Milan, running May 28-30.
