AVT has launched the Offline Setup module, which is designed to ‘raise the bar’ of print quality by standardizing inspection results and addressing the need for automating production processes.

With the new module, a single operator can now make settings for all AVT inspection systems, enhancing set-up consistency.

Standardizing inspection results prevent costly set-up errors, AVT said, and saves production time on the press, laminator and rewinder, and allows operators on all machines to maintain a high level of inspection consistency.

‘As not all operators perform at the same level, inspection quality may vary from job to job,’ AVT marketing manager Aviram Vardi said. ‘Using the original PDF as a guide, operators can easily create a virtual project using actual dimensions and label/pack data.’
