Flint Group launches rotec Smart and Smart Premium

Flint Group has developed rotec Smart and Smart Premium, with the base sleeve of these new products optimized with easy-mount technology intended to increase both the ease and speed of mounting.

rotec Smart Premium sleeves feature easy-mount technology and offer up to 15 percent in weight reduction

The intermediate layer of the sleeve uses advanced polyurethane materials to enable up to a 15 percent weight reduction. rotec Smart Premium has an additional barrier layer for enhanced dimensional stability. The outer layer of the sleeve uses the same polyurethane as other rotec.

Flint Group said rotec Smart and Smart Premium has been developed to meet the ongoing challenges in flexographic printing of shorter print runs and more job changes, alongside better print quality with lower costs and improved health and safety.

rotec Smart and rotec Smart Premium sleeves will be demonstrated at Labelexpo Europe 2017, next to the patent-pending, state-of-the-art rotec Eco Bridge, launched earlier this year, for use on flexographic printing presses and on plate mounting equipment.
