Teknek launches EcoFilm adhesive rolls

Teknek, a supplier of contact cleaning and yield improvement technology, has launched its EcoFilm adhesive rolls.

The Teknek contact cleaning process uses sheeted adhesive rolls, which once consumed, have to be disposed of. EcoFilm is claimed to be the first oxy-degradable clean machine adhesive roll to be available on the market. It retains all the characteristics of the Teknek Nanocleen+ adhesive roll (silicone-free, static dissipation, extra wide format, slant cut) plus the added advantage of being ‘green’.

Sheila Hamilton, Teknek’s technical director, said: ‘The main challenge was to develop a film that lasts long enough to meet the process needs, yet will degrade easily when it comes to disposal.’
