Actega appoints new MD

- Dr Wolfgang Josten has started in his position as the new managing director of Actega Colorchemie

 

- Actega Coatings & Sealants develops and produces coatings and sealants, printing inks and adhesives for flexible and rigid packaging

 

Dr Wolfgang Josten has started in his position as the new managing director of Actega Colorchemie.

 

Actega Colorchemie is a member of the graphic arts business line of Actega, a division of specialty chemicals group Altana.

 

Actega Coatings & Sealants develops and produces coatings and sealants, printing inks and adhesives for flexible and rigid packaging and for the graphic arts industry.

 

Josten studied chemistry at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University of Bonn, where he completed his studies with his doctorate in 1994.

 

He started his career with Tego Chemie Service GmbH as lab manager. After five years he transitioned to Siegwerk Druckfarben, lastly as head of research and development for web offset printing inks.

 

Since 2008 he has been a member of the managing board of Epple Druckfarben AG, responsible for purchasing, production and coloration.
