EFI appoints European sales director for Jetrion products

EFI has announced Dirk Waes as the new director of sales in Europe for EFI’s Jetrion industrial inkjet systems product line. 

Waes has more than 15 years experience in digital imaging, serving a majority of time in various roles at HP Indigo and most recently as global sales director at Agfa for the Dotrix product line. He was instrumental in increasing profitability for HP Indigo’s consumables business in Europe, and in establishing the initial customer base for Agfa’s Dotrix inkjet products.

‘Dirk’s strong Indigo and Dotrix experience will be critically important for EFI as we build our direct sales presence in Europe for our 3000 and 4000 series inkjet printers, ‘ said Dr Kenneth Stack, general manager, Jetrion Industrial Inkjet Systems, EFI.

The Jetrion 3025 UV Inkjet System is a high-speed, inline inkjet system that prints high quality barcodes, text, numbers, graphics and addresses in labels, direct mail and packaging applications. The 4000 Series UV Inkjet Printing System, an affordable full color digital press for labels and flexible packaging, was announced at Labelexpo Americas 2006.
