Hybrid Software expands US team
Texas-based appointments strengthen southern Midwest US support.
L-R: Brian Taylor and Matthew Conner
Hybrid Software has appointed Brian Taylor as sales manager and Matthew Conner as solutions engineer to extend its representation in the southern Midwest US.
Taylor, based in Texas, brings 20 years of experience in production printing and packaging, having held roles as an owner, operator, salesperson, graphic designer and consultant.
Most recently, he was an independent print broker and graphics communication executive at Ricoh US, where he managed a portfolio of high-value digital printing accounts spanning many states and industries.
Taylor will work with customers and business and technology partners in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas, responsible for all products in Hybrid Software's portfolio.
'Brian is a terrific asset to our North America sales team,' commented Peter Kincaid, vice president of sales, North America. 'He brings a diverse breadth of printing industry experiences with him. Beyond his work on the vendor side, and as a former owner and operator, he can draw upon the unique experience of running a business that relied heavily on prepress software. He is acutely aware of the challenges our customers need to overcome. Brian looks forward to meeting our customers and partners, to help deliver value and support to them, helping them achieve their production and business goals.'
Matthew Conner, also from Texas, has joined Hybrid Software as a solutions engineer. Conner 'grew up in flexo' – his father spent his career in printing and introduced him to the packaging industry when he was in high school. While he started as customer service representative at McKool Graphics, Conner has spent most of his professional career at SGS & Co., where he most recently was a solutions architect. He has also been a studio manager, shift supervisor and account manager. He holds a BA from Hardin-Simmons University.
'Matthew is another person who has ink in his blood. He has a wealth of experience from both the printer and vendor sides, which will be put to good use as he assists Hybrid Software's customers get the most from our software,' added Kincaid. 'While I am sure both Brian and Matt will be in touch with many of our customers and prospects, people can also meet them at the Hybrid Software Fusion Packaging Summit 2026, which will be held April 20-22 in Sarasota, Florida.'
