Meech makes four appointments

Darren Marchant has been named as internal sales and technical customer service adviser, Jeremy Spikins and Sue Taylor join as production manager and book keeper respectively, while Susie Dane fills the role of marketing assistant.

Marchant will work alongside Meech’s field sales representatives to streamline the sales process and act as a link between the manufacturer and the customer. Meech said his extensive background in customer services is ideal at a time when it is rapidly extending its global distributor and customer networks.

Spikins will oversee the Meech manufacturing process. From product purchasing up to the point of despatch, he will be responsible for the flow of all products though the production process. Particular focus will be on eliminating supply chain risks and improving production techniques.

Sue Taylor, who has worked extensively in financial accounting roles, will be responsible for general accounts administration and supporting credit control. She will also look to take on some other general administrative and HR duties.

Susie Dane, who graduated last year from Portsmouth University will, in her role as marketing assistant, support the development of Meech’s web and social media presence, as well as providing assistance to Meech’s marketing programme.
