Presstek expands North American sales team
Presstek has made a double appointment to its North American sales team, with Donn Goldstick and Harry Manzi to help improve the customer experience in line with its continuous improvement goals.

Goldstick joins Presstek as its new Western region sales manager for digital printing systems. His previous positions include regional vice president of Heidelberg and, more recently, regional sales manager with Xerox and Ricoh, where Presstek said he advanced the installations of digital toner technology into the print market. His mix of conventional and digital press expertise will greatly enhance Presstek’s go-to-market initiative, the company said. Steve Chmielewski, who formerly managed sales in the Western US, has moved over to a newly created Central region territory for Presstek.
‘Having many years of experience with market leaders in both digital printing systems and offset, it’s clear that Presstek DI presses are becoming a preferred solution over toner for a highly automated, reliable high performance system that not only provides a high return on investment, but has no click charges, and prints at a low cost per page, especially on runs between 500–10,000,’ said Goldstick.
Manzi has joined as an account manager, supporting thermal printing plates, and will be responsible for business development, client retention and dealer relations for Presstek’s thermal plate products. He previously held consultative sales and business development roles at Agfa, 3M and Kodak Polychrome Graphics.
Ralph Jenkins, director of worldwide sales and marketing at Presstek, said: ‘The expansion of our sales force and account management support gives us the ability to provide more personalized service to our customers and dealer partners. This approach aligns with our goal to continually improve the customer experience.
‘In addition, we continue to make investments through enhanced features that improve our customers’ operational productivity and help them be more capable, profitable, and competitive.’
The Eco-UV curing option for Presstek DI digital offset presses dries substrates instantly and requires significantly less power than conventional UV, it is claimed. Presstek said Eco-UV decreases overall job turnaround time and opens doors for businesses to differentiate themselves by printing on non-absorptive plastics for POP and display, credit, membership and gift cards, cut sheet labels or packaging.
