Stratos to sell Madico labelstocks in France

Madico Graphic Films, a supplier of specialist pressure sensitive, coated film products for durable label applications, has appointed Stratos as a French distributor for its expanding range of self-adhesive roll-label substrates.

Stratos, based in Saint Ouen L’Aumne, specializes in the self-adhesive roll label market and offers label converters slitting and supply services for small and medium quantities. As an approved Madico distributor, Stratos will have specific focus on supplying Madico’s labelstock ranges throughout France, where it has over 500 customers.

Under the agreement with Madico, Stratos will enlarge its specialist material portfolio to offer customers a diverse range of Madico’s pressure sensitive labelstocks for variable information labeling, product security, automotive, electronic and pharmaceutical applications. These products include Madico’s chemical resistant Durafol thermal transfer printable polyester, cryogenic labelstocks that offer superior adhesion at -196 degrees Celsius and advanced gloss white polyimide film for high temperature printed circuit board labeling.

Stratos’ founder and sales director, Dominique Sarrazin, envisages increased opportunities both for his company and especially its customers, as a result of Madico’s appointment. ‘Madico’s name is synonymous with innovative and performance labelstocks that fulfil specific application requirements,’ he said. ‘By strengthening our range with Madico’s products, label converters are afforded fast access to a broad and varied portfolio that enables them to effectively meet the specific application needs of their customers while enlarging their opportunities.’
