Solimar Systems expands SOLitrack

The license includes three new capabilities including proof and approvals, duplicate file checking and batching.

Solimar Systems, workflow provider for print production and digital communications, has included three production-critical capabilities, proof and approvals, duplicate file checking and batching in every SOLitrack license. The change applies to all customers, new and existing, effective immediately.

The expanded base license reflects a deliberate shift in how Solimar packages SOLitrack: capabilities that production print operations rely on every day for quality control, cost savings and operational efficiency are no longer treated as add-ons. They are simply part of the platform.

‘We continually strengthen our products to provide more visibility, security, and time and cost savings,’ said Mary Ann Rowan, CXO at Solimar Systems. ‘Our goal is to empower our customers to improve their operations by providing off-the-shelf, configurable, modular solutions that automate processes and integrate islands of technology.’

Configurable approval workflows that route jobs to designated reviewers at any production checkpoint are now possible. Approvers can be individuals or groups, with synchronous or asynchronous sign-off, auto-approval timers, customizable notifications and full audit logging. Piece-level approval supports suppressing, pausing, or approving individual mail pieces within a job, a capability important to regulated industries, transactional mail and any environment where data quality and privacy compliance are non-negotiable.

Automatically detect files that have already been processed, with operator warnings, override controls with documented reasons and alert-based notifications. Product-level bypass options accommodate workflows such as Piece Level Tracking (PLT) reprints, where duplicates are intentional and expected, the resulting in fewer costly reprints, fewer wasted impressions and a defensible audit trail.

Intelligent grouping of indexed PDF jobs by product, processed as a single SOLitrack job capability. Batching can be done manually via the Create Batch wizard or fully automated by the Automated Batching Agent, which builds optimized batches on a configurable schedule. Batch limits for impressions, sheets, and mail pieces give operations teams precise control, while integration with SOLfusion and Rubika enables postal commingling and discount optimization.

The licensing expansion arrives alongside the SOLitrack 2.6 R5 release, which adds Bulk Release for time-window-based job grouping, piece-level data export to CSV, attached reports in alert emails and tuning options for IPP devices and device status polling. These refinements build on the broader 2.6 release announced in November 2025, which introduced smart piece-level reprint automation, scheduled reporting and USPS SingleSource ACS support.

‘SOLitrack continues to evolve in step with what our customers need,’ said Drew Sprague, president of Solimar Systems. ‘Expanding the base license, combined with the ongoing 2.6 enhancements, gives our clients more capability, more automation, and more control — with greater operational visibility.’

Existing customers can begin using the newly included capabilities immediately.
