Miyakoshi strengthens its European footprint

Japanese offset press specialist Miyakoshi Printing Machinery has strengthened its position in Europe since launching a subsidiary for the continent last year.

Miyakoshi Europe was established in Spain at the end of the first quarter last year to promote Miyakoshi products and services in Europe. Since then, Miyakoshi Europe has appointed sales agents in Germany, France, Portugal, Italy, the Benelux countries, Czech Republic, Bulgaria. Operations have been established in Austria and the Netherlands to provide customer support and service anywhere in Europe within 24 hours.

Miyakoshi said that since establishing its European subsidiary, orders have been received from France, Spain and Bulgaria. It has many prospective customers in its sales pipeline.

Miyakoshi Europe hosted an Open House on March 17 where the MLP-H semi-rotary UV wet offset label press was demonstrated. MLP-H was introduced to the market at Labelexpo Europe 2015 and will be commercialized at drupa 2016.
