Flint Group Flexographic Products honors distributor of the year

Flint Group Flexographic Products has named Italy-based Macchingraf as its distributor of the year for 2011.

Since the end of the 1960s, Maccingraf has worked in a close partnership with Flint Group and its predecessor companies. Maccingraf initially imported nyloprint printing plates for the Italian market, but shortly added nyloflex printing plates to its product line. In recent years, the company is said to have ‘considerably extended [its] market share in Italy’.

‘Macchingraf was able to increase sales with nyloflex and nyloprint printing plates by 50 percent within a short time,’ said Frauke Meissner, vice president of sales operations at Flint Group Flexographic Products. ‘With its innovative and extremely market- and service-orientated approach, the company could steadily gain market share and today is the leading supplier of printing systems and consumables in a country where print shops and trade houses are known for the highest standards.’

Luca Fattorossi, commercial director of Macchingraf, was delighted to receive the award once again: ‘Customer orientation and teamwork play a big part in our company, and the success proves us right. Being voted for the second time as the Flint Group Flexographic Products distributor of the year is a demonstration of our expertise and our high quality level, of which we are particularly proud.’

Maccingraf belongs to the international Staples Group which employs more than 90,000 people worldwide, and with whom Flint Group also works closely in other countries.
